This property was perfect for a weekend getaway with some friends. Everything was clean and as-advertised, and most of the essentials were provided which was a big plus. The area was quiet and scenic, making for some beautiful nights by the campfire. We will definitely be looking into coming back!

Thé Kuyahoora lodge was the perfect getaway for our family of 17! The house was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The property is wonderful and we all enjoyed the beachfront and water sports. We will be back!

We have never done a family get away with all the children and grandchildren and we were a bit apprehensive that the “vacation “ would be a fiasco. Just the opposite. The accommodations allowed all their space, yet together meals and beach time and just hanging out together. Thank you.

Every year we have rented a beautiful place for a family vacation (all over the US) and this place was hands down the best we have ever been to. The place is gorgeous, well stocked and it is obvious that no expenses were spared in its appointments!The owners are wonderful and magnanimous people and we were lucky enough to spend some time with them. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this paradise!

Our visit at the Adirondack cabin was absolutely amazing!
My whole family enjoyed our stay and that is hard to accomplish! Everything was spectacular! We didn’t have to do a single thing once we were there! Everything was so clean! We loved the lawn and our beach! We loved all the kayaks and paddle boards! We loved our dock and boat! Kids had fun fishing, swimming, kayaking, going on the boat! The fire pits were so nice! The wrap around deck was amazing! I could sit on that for hours and enjoy that view! The bathroom near the beach was convenient! Very clean! The fridge downstairs was nice to have! The swing on the downstairs deck was perfect to stay cool and relax. We loved taking the boat to Rocky’s for dinner! Rocky’s was so nice! The food and service was perfect! Ok, I will stop ranting…but we cannot wait to go back! My friends are all asking me for the link. I will definitely share our new gem. It was the perfect getaway for our family! Thank you for everything!

Time of your life experience for you and your guests. The water access and lake is a hidden gem, with clear water, clean sand, and not tons of traffic. The private beach is a great time. We had my bachelor weekend with 14 total guests, a boat, 2 jetskis, at the Black Creek Cabin. Everyone was very comfortable and the place was very clean and spacious. We all want to come back!

My family stayed here for a week in July. There were 3 families. 7 kids, 9 months old to 14 years old. The cabin is absolutely beautiful. Everything was very clean and neat. The outside was very clean and tidy. We put all the kids downstairs and everyone was happy. Once we were there, we didn’t have to do a thing. Everything we could possible need was there. We rented a pontoon boat and the owner brought it to us and docked it. Then, all week every morning someone would fill it with gas for us. Plenty of kayaks and paddle boards to go around! Kids swam, fished, played ball on the lawn. Outside gas fire pit is so nice. Then there is another fire pit down on the beach. We took the boat over to Rocky’s for dinner a few nights and it was amazing! Lots of seating on the deck and under to relax! The wrap around deck is so peaceful and relaxing. The linens were all nice and clean. House fully stocked with cooking supplies. We didn’t even have to leave. It was perfect. We can’t wait to go back again!

My family rented this cabin for a long weekend during my sisters graduation from college and needless to say it was a wonderful weekend! All together there were 14 people staying at the cabin, and then we were able to have a bbq there as well with an additional 5 people from the local town! Kim was very efficient and easy to contact throughout our stay! The house was very welcoming with waters and some snacks set up in different rooms for us. We also went down to the water and took out some kayaks and paddle boards for an afternoon and swam around in the beach area for a while! It was such a beautiful weekend and everything worked out so well with the large group we had. The house was very clean and nothing was broken. We will most likely stay here again if we are back in the area!

Wonderful Thanksgiving weekend with family and friends
"The cabin was perfect for us; two families with kids 3-15 of age. Although the cold weather and snow we enjoyed the outdoor lake and kayaks, we built a snow man and had a nice hike in the area . We came with all our supplies and managed to cook nice meals in the fully equipped kitchen. We enjoyed cozy time with the kids and friends. Perfect location with amazing view and tranquility."

"This was our first trip up to Cold Brook and this area of NY. We definitely chose the best place to stay! The pictures listed for this cabin do NOT give this cabin and surrounding area justice!! It’s absolutely beautiful! The house is extremely well stocked with anything you may need from big pots, small pots, plates, plenty of utensils and cooking utensils. A big cabinet of spices, sugar, salt and pepper is provided! There is a Keurig AND a regular coffee pot too. The little things they include upon your arrival such as snacks bags, cold bottled water in the beverage coolers (3 full coolers throughout the house!), plenty of bathroom tissue, little shampoo/conditioner/body wash in each bathroom, towels and PLENTY beach towels are some of the things that really make this place special. There are pontoon boats that are available to rent upon request and we decided to take advantage of that one of the days we were there. Al was our captain and even if you know how to operate a pontoon boat it was worth it to have him take us out and be our guide!! He knows the reservoir like the back of his hand! He took us to some great fishing spots, the dam, the cliffs and beach area, and let the kids tube off the pontoon boat! It was a blast! We spent many nights down by the fire on the beach and fishing from the dock. We took the kayaks and paddle boards out and put them to good use for fun and fishing! The entire trip has its moments of pure fun, relaxation and utter exhaustion from all the activities we were able to fit in. The jacuzzi was a great place to relax and unwind as well! Thanks to Kim, Kat and Al for making our stay a very memorable one!! We hope to be back next year!!"

"This property was all it was advertised and more! The outside seating area was superb! Plenty of sleeping space and room to have "own" space. Wifi was good; TV was great for Olympics; appliances were very nice and beds were comfortable! We never needed to call for anything! Our only complaint was the sulfur smell of the tap water. One of the best houses we've stayed at and we rent houses quite often on vrbo/airbnb. The owner welcomed us with a case of water in the fridge, provided kayak, paddle boards, firewood. Kim was super nice and answered all of our questions during our stay. They have a private beach dedicated to our house so it was great during time of COVID. Will definitely stay here again!

What a wonderful overall experience! The house is immaculate - new, nice and very well-appointed. The rooms are lovely. The layout of the house is highly functional, so there's a lot of room and comfort for lounging/hanging out, but it can sleep a lot of people too. It's situated on a big, beautiful piece of property; the pictures on the listing don't do justice to the enormous patio and the incredible lake view. We enjoyed beautiful red and purple sunsets every night. Kim and her family were unbelievably welcoming and responsive. Kim was available 24/7 to answer any questions, and was super helpful in making suggestions and even bringing over items to make our lives easier. We really felt the love and appreciated the white glove experience Kim and her family provided. Simply put, this is a fantastic property owned and managed by fantastic people. We will 100% be back. We recently had a 3 generation vacation at the Kuyahoora's Adirondack Cabin and had an amazing time. Everything was top of the line- from kayaks, paddle boards, and a shared pontoon boat to the best equipped kitchen I've every used! The owners and Kim, the manager, were ALWAYS so helpful and delightful to be with. We had full use of a large lawn, a beach and a dock. In addition there was a wonderful wrap around deck on the house and a large deck at the beach. The owners have thought of everything you might need to make your vacation complete- beach toys, life preservers, games, even flashlights. Hinckley Lake is a gem with sandy beaches and the clearest water imaginable. A final note is that the stars are incredible!

We stayed in the Eagles View cabin and the cabin was just as picture. It was well stocked and extremely clean. The lake views were gorgeous. We loved having the private beach area, paddle boards and kayaks. We enjoyed the bbq and the fire pit at night. The beach is a little rocky and muddy but that is expected with a lake. Parts of the resort are still under construction but it did not interfere with our stay. Overall, a great place for a quiet and relaxing getaway.

" The Adirondack cabin was amazing! Driving up to the property and seeing the Hinckley Reservoir will take your breath away. The inside was very clean and had plenty of amenities. There were mini fridges in different rooms stocked with water and other drinks. The view from the deck is something else. Having the private beach so close with kayaks, canoes, and paddle boards was one of our favorite parts about our stay. We spent hours on/in the water. There’s even a nice little ice cream shop that we walked to a couple of nights. Don’t hesitate to book this property. We will be back! "
