Are Dogs Allowed?
Dogs are allowed in our Black Creek, Alpine and West Canada Creek cabins with a $250 non-refundable pet deposit. (*Limit 2 Dogs) Contact Guest Services for more details.

Do you have pontoon boats for rent?
The Kuyahoora Resort does have pontoon boats for rent based on season and availability at the time of your stay. Please contact Guest Services for pricing and details.

Where do we check in?
We ask that you check in at our on-site restaurant Rocky’s on the Lake at 438 Mac Arthur Road, Cold Brook, NY 13324. We will have one of our hosts lead you over to your cabin and go over your door code, Wifi and any additional questions you may have.

Can we check in early/check out late?
During the Summer Season we are not able to offer early or late check in or out as our teams need every moment to prepare for our guests to the top level of service that we provide. During the Off Season, on occasion we are able to have a guest check in earlier than our standard 4pm check-in time, and check out a little later than our 11am check-out time. Please contact Guest Services to inquire about availability.

Are we allowed to play music outside?
Guests are allowed to play music outside if the music does not disrupt another property or guest.

Are there stores nearby?
We have multiple local stores, gas stations and other amenities nearby and they can be located in your guest book for location and distance from the resort. Here are a couple of store locations for reference:

• Northway Stop & Shop (5.6 miles) Remsen, NY
• DeSantis Meat Market & Deli (11.2 miles) Barneveld, NY
• Walmart, Hannaford, Chanatry’s, Price Chopper, Aldi (21-25 miles) Utica, NY

Are the cabins stocked with necessities/linens?
Our cabins are stocked with linens, towels, shampoo, conditioner, coffee pods, paper towels & an array of necessities to get you started during your stay.

Are there air mattresses or pull-out sofas?
Each cabin has a different set up, and some do have pull-out sofas and/or futons. The resort does have air mattresses that can provide with enough notice, and upon availability.

Are there Pack and Plays or high chairs on site?
The resort does have some pack and plays as well as high chairs upon request and availability.

Are we allowed to fish in the lake?
Yes, you may fish in the lake, and we also have an on-site pond stocked for fishing as well! In Hinckley Lake you’ll find Bass, Crappie, Pickerel and trout. To fish on Hinckley Lake, New York State requires a fishing license. You can obtain a fishing license in the following nearby locations:

• Northway Stop & Shop (5.6 miles away) in Remsen, NY
• Bass Pro Shops (20.2 miles away) in Utica, NY

What cabins are near each other so my friends and family can book a property close to me?
The Alpine Cabin and The Black Creek Cabin are neighboring cabins. The Eagle’s View Cabin and the West Canada Creek Cabin are also neighboring cabins, with the Lakeview Cabin in close proximity. The Adirondack Cabin neighbors the Kuyahoora Lodge, but is also in close proximity to the Eagle’s View, West Canada Creek and Lakeview cabins.

Is there firewood and propane?
Your cabin is stocked with both firewood for your fire pit, and propane for the propane grill and propane fire pit.

What kitchen items are there?
The kitchens are stocked with plateware and silverware, cookware, common cooking utensils and serve ware. There is also a coffee pot/Keurig.

How many kayaks and paddle boards are complimentary?
Each cabin has 4 kayaks and two paddle boards, along with life jackets in various sizes provided.

Can we bring our boat?
You can bring your boat, and we have a designated area where it can be parked when not in use. We have dock access on-site, and we will direct you to your designated dock for use upon your stay.

Is pulling a tube and/or jet skis allowed on pontoon boats?
Pulling tubes or skis on pontoon boats is not permitted.

Where are the nearest hiking trails?
We have over 5 miles of walking trails on-site, but if you’re looking for more of a hike than a walk, there are multiple popular hiking trails nearby and can be found listed in your cabin guest book.

Are fireworks allowed?
We do not allow fireworks on the property.

How deep is the water?
Hinckley Lake has an average water depth of around 28 feet, with it’s maximum depth of about 75 feet when full to the spillway crest.

Do you allow ATV’s on the property?
We do not allow ATV’s or golf carts on the property.

Do you have bikes for use?
We do have bikes and helmets on the property for guest use during your stay! Contact Guest Services for details.

How do I schedule a massage?
Scheduling a massage while on-site can be done through Guest Services. Payment can be taken via card with your Guest Services team, and you can either tip on the card payment, or tip your masseuse in cash.

What type of exercise equipment is at the fitness center?
Our fitness center is equipped with state of the art equipment including a treadmill, exercise bikes, elliptical and weight machine. We also have an infrared cedar sauna, steam showers, and massages by appointment!

How do I make a reservation at Rocky’s on the Lake?
